Journal Article · · Res. Bull. - Ohio Agric. Res. Dev. Cent.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6860493
This report compares the use of wood, natural gas and coal as boiler fuels in three Ohio case plants assuming varying levels of land and air pollution standards. The method of comparison is discounted cash flow financial analysis combined with a constrained optimization model for economic analysis. Policy implications of the results for forestry, coal mining, environmental regulation and Ohio's energy future are also discussed. 36 references.
