Intensity cross-correlation in stimulated Raman scattering

The intensity cross-correlation function between a broad-band pump laser and generated Stokes light has been measured by frequency mixing. A strong correlation has been found, whose magnitude varies with the collisional relaxation time of the Raman medium. 2 refs.
