Electric monopole transitions between low lying 0{sup +} states in {sup 110}Cd have been studied by means of electron internal conversion and gamma spectroscopy. Values or upper limits for the ratio {ital X}{sub {ital i}{ital j}{ital f}} between the {ital B}({ital E}0;0{sub {ital i}}{sup +}{r arrow}0{sub {ital j}}{sup +}) and {ital B}({ital E}2;0{sub {ital i}}{sup +}{r arrow}2{sub {ital f}}{sup +}) reduced transition probabilities have been determined. The results are discussed in the frame of the proton-neutron-interacting-boson configuration mixing model.
