This bibliography contains citations concerning methods of removing asbestos from buildings and water. Walk-through survey reports describe wet- and dry-removal techniques being employed at work sites. Containment barriers, ventilation systems, and vacuum systems used during asbestos-removal projects are also described. Monitors that measure asbestos dust fibers, and water filters that remove asbestos are also discussed. Alternative uses in highways and as an absorbing agent in oil spill cleanups are explored along with disposal methods. (This updated bibliography contains 91 citations, 11 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
