The temperature and heat flux solutions of several heat conduction problems in a semi-infinite solid with a boundary condition of the third kind can be expressed in terms of the functions, E(u,v) and F(u,v). It is shown that these functions can be expressed by exponential and complementary error functions. The authors also present the graphical as well as tabular representations of the functions. The authors also present the graphical as well as tabular representations of the functions for practical use.
