We construct the Q/sup 2/ evolution of the pion wave function Phi(x,Q/sup 2/) and investigate its properties by a seminumerical method in the two-loop approximation of QCD. On the basis of these calculations we analyze the total ..cap alpha../sub s/ corrections to the amplitudes of the processes ..gamma..*..gamma..*..--> pi../sup 0/ and ..gamma..*..pi --> pi.. in the next-to-leading approximation. We find that the ..cap alpha../sub s/ evolution corrections are important for the first process (when one of the photons is real) and unimportant for the second.
