The development of FKK multistep compound reaction theory

The multistep compound reaction theory of Feshbach, Kerman and Koonin is discussed, together with improvements that have subsequently been made. A unified theory formula described the multistep compound emission of pre-equilibrium and compound nuclear emission of full equilibrium is presented.
