Modal data on more than 200 samples and major-element chemical data on 30 samples of the plutonic rocks, which underlie about 80% of the Bass Lake quadrangle, supplement the geologic quadrangle map, GQ-1656. The analyses are tabulated, and compositional variations within the Bass Lake Tonalite, which underlies about 70% of the quadrangle, are shown on maps and diagrams.
