Studies in iodine metabolism: Eighteen year progress summary, 1948-1967

A chronology is presented of the author's contributions to the understanding of the pathogenesis of goiter. The studies briefly described include the effects of dietary iodine, monitoring of Iodine 131 in domestic animals, actions of thiocyanate, regulation of iodine metabolism in the thyroid and studies on the thyroid hormones. 159 refs.
