Quasi-elastic nucleus-nucleus scattering cross section in the optical approximation

A closed expression for the differential cross section of quasielastic, nucleus-nucleus scattering is obtained within the framework of optical approximation, disregarding the real part of the elastic NN-scattering amplitude.
