Scattering of 5-MeV neutrons by nickel isotopes

Differential cross sections for elastic and inelastic scattering of neutrons with excitation of the first levels of the isotopes /sup 58,60,62,64/Ni and also differential cross sections for elastic scattering of neutrons by nickel and oxygen have been measured at a neutron energy 5.0 MeV. The experimental data have been analyzed in terms of the optical model, the statistical theory of nuclear reactions, and the coupled-channel method.
