This report makes detailed data on plume rise available for independent analysis by other specialists studying atmospheric dispersion. Techniques of data collection and methods of data reduction are detailed. Data from 62 time-averaged observations of the plume at Shawnee Steam Plant, its source, and the meteorological conditions are reported. Most of the data were collected during early to midmorning and are therefore characterized by stable atmospheric conditions. The data are presented in both a summary and a detailed format.
