This study of renewable and indigenous resources in New York State was funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. The results are a compendium of estimates of costs associated with the energy produced by solar, wind, small hydropower, geothermal, biomass, and resource recovery technologies. Where possible, data specific to New York were employed or national or regional data were adjusted to reflect the climatological, geographical, and other basic circumstances in the State.
