Title: Study of excited states of /sup 76/As in the (p,n. gamma. ) reaction

We report measurements of the excitation functions, ..gamma..-ray angular distributions, ..gamma gamma.. and n..gamma.. coincidence spectra, and cross sections for the reaction /sup 76/Ge(p,n..gamma..)/sup 76/As in the incident-proton energy range 1.8 to 2.7 MeV. The experimental data obtained on the (p,n..gamma..) reaction cross sections and ..gamma..-ray angular distributions are compared with the results of calculations in terms of the Hauser-Feshbach statistical theory. A scheme of de-excitation of the states excited in the (p,n) reaction is presented.
