Nuclear chemistry progress report. [Dept. of Chemistry and Cyclotron Lab. , Univ. of Maryland, College Park, August 1977--August 1978]
Research activities during the period August 1, 1977, to August 31, 1978, are summarized. The major effort was the study of nucleon-exchange and energy dissipation mechanisms in damped heavy-ion reactions. Work on isotope identification measurements was initiated. Measurements of yields in the ..cap alpha.. + ..cap alpha.. reaction were completed. Eight sections containing significant amounts of data are abstracted separately. Publications lists are included.
