A $2 billion DOE appropriations for energy research and development projects, and defense-related activities. Compromise figures for independent agencies cover $2.3 million for the Appalachian Regional Commission, $448.2 million for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and $129.6 million for the Tennessee Valley Authority.
