This patent describes, in a rotary internal combustion engine, an improved assembly for providing a balanced flow of combustion air to the fuel supply inlet. It comprises: a plenum chamber attached to the engine block, the plenum chamber including an air inlet adapted to receive air from the cooling air exit passage and an air outlet for the discharge of air; and an outlet conduit connecting the air outlet and the fuel supply inlet. The conduit disposed to partially surround the plenum chamber to provide a conduit length substantially greater than the distance from the cooling air exit passage tot he fuel supply inlet.
