Preliminary design package for solar heating and hot water system

Two prototype solar heating and hot water systems are being developed for use in single-family dwellings or commercial buildings. The systems are to consist of the following subsystems: collector, storage, transport, hot water, auxiliary energy, and government-furnished site data acquisition. The systems are to be installed at Yosemite, California, and Pueblo, Colorado. The necessary information to evaluate the preliminary design for the solar heating and hot water system is included. Included are the interface with proposed instrumentation plan, training program, hazard analysis, preliminary design drawings, and other information about the progress and design of the system.
