Wastewater system managers and engineers are often faced with the problem of measuring flows in closed conduits (e.g., small sewers) that operate both under open channel conditions and under full pipe flow conditions. Solutions to the problem developed previously have had serious limitations. The Flumeter/trademark/ technology described in this report has few limitations and shows great promise as a simple and reliable means of measuring such flows.
