The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) and the Public Utilities Board amalgamated in 1995 to form the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB). The Board is responsible for the orderly and efficient development of Alberta`s energy resources and ensuring that Albertans receive safe and efficient utility service at just and reasonable rates. This annual report reviews oil, gas and oil sands drilling activities, and production, reserves and markets for oil, oil sands, natural gas and sulphur. It includes reports on activities for the year for pipelines, coal, and electricity.
