The domestic production of each detailed energy products (with individual producing sectors identified) is presented over the 1947--1972 period in physical units, Btus, and where available, producers' values. Detailed data are included for petroleum, natural gas, coal, and their by-products and fabricated nuclear energy products. Data are included for water power supplies. Additional data are tabulated on the inventories of these energy products, with the holding sectors identified. Data on energy products taxonomy; sector taxonomy (agriculture, forestry, fisheries, mining, construction, manufacturing, transportation, communication, public utilities, commercial industries, finance, insurance, real estate, services, government enterprises); and functional use taxonomy are included in the appendices.
