WATER: a large range thermodynamic and transport water property FORTRAN-IV computer program (LWBR Development Program)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6755259
WATER is a FORTRAN-IV digital computer subroutine used to extract thermodynamic and transport properties of liquid, vapor, and supercritical water by tabular interpolation over the range of states: 14.5 to 14,500 psia, and 32 to 1472/sup 0/F. Bi-linear interpolation is used with provision to extrapolate to states outside table limits. The principal source of data is the skeleton tables adopted by the Sixth International Conference on the Properties of Steam. Continuous approximations of pressure and temperature partial derivatives are provided. An independent representation is given for saturated liquid and vapor properties. (NSA 21: 10540)
