The Tono Project, WIDCO's underground coal gasification (UCG) technology development program, a phased series of laboratory, field laboratory, and increasingly larger field tests leading to a commercial development. This unique approach to the commercialization of the UCG technology, centers around the controlled retracting injection point (CRIP) gasification system.
