Procedure for analysis of Zircaloy-clad bulk oxide rods using the CYGRO-1 computer program (LWBR Development Program)

Procedures are specified for using the CYGRO-1 computer program to evaluate the results of irradiation tests of Zircaloy-clad bulk oxide fuel rods and to determine the adequacy of related fuel rod designs. The procedures are discussed in detail and methods are described for handling worst-case conditions for use in fuel rod design, as well as the best estimate of conditions used for evaluation of tests. These procedures were set up as part of the LSBR-LWB development program. (NSA 21: 28864)
