Design and installation experiences from nine intermediate-sized photovoltaic systems: a critical analysis

Nine intermediate-sized photovoltaic system experiments have been constructed under the direction of Sandia National Laboratories as part of the US Department of Energy National Photovoltaic Program. The purpose of these application-oriented experiments is to provide experience in the design, construction, and operation of full-scale, on-site photovoltaic systems. The vast experience gained during the design and installation phases of the projects is summarized, and this experience is analyzed with respect to its implications on future designs.
