Effect of paramagnetic impurities on the Josephson current in S-N-S junctions

Calculations are made of the steady-state Josephson current in S-N-S junctions with paramagnetic impurities at any temperature. The concentration of nonmagnetic impurities is assumed to be high. The current at temperatures near the critical one is calculated on the basis of the Ginzburg--Landau equations. For low temperatures the calculations are performed with the aid of the Usadel equations. The dependence of the critical current on the temperature, on the width of the normal region, and on the mean free path with spin flipping is established as a result.
