This Record of Decision (ROD) presents the selected remedial action for OU 3 at Elmendorf AFB. The selected remedy was chosen from many alternatives as the best method of addressing the PCB contaminated soil at site SS21. The selected remedy is excavation and off-site disposal of soil at SS21 containing PCBs greater than 5 ppm.
