Platform riser for 380 meters under study

A new production platform riser, capable of operating in depths up to 380 meters, is being studied by VBB of Stockholm. The riser system runs from the deck of the floating platform through a moonpool, which extents to the bottom of the platform to the seabed at water depths up to 380 meters. The stress and fatigue problems are the chief projects in this study.
