OSTI ID:6727408
A six-month forecast of gas demand for January 1-June 30, 1984 projects an increase in all market areas of natural gas demand due to colder weather, continued economic recovery, and more favorable gas prices relative to competitive fuels. The forecast projects three levels of demand: 7.6% increase for the base case, 13% for the high case, and 4.3% for the low case. Each reflects an annual rate of conservation of 1.74 in the residential and commercial markets and no load loss in the industrial and electric utility markets due to fuel switching from gas. 6 tables.
