Standard method for estimation of heat of combustion of aviation fuels

An empirical method for estimating the heat of combustion of aviation fuels is based on a correlation between the net heat of combustion and gravity, aromatic content, and average volatility of the fuel. Equations are given for the correlation of these measurements.
