Possible type of dynamical symmetry breaking in the dual resonance model

An analysis is given of the possibility of complete renormalization of the meson Regge trajectories of a dual resonance model in which the higher orders of perturbation theory lead to Brower-Goddard trajectories with intercept ..cap alpha../sub 0/> or =3.
