Alpha decay of /sup 246/Cf, /sup 248/Cm, and /sup 240/Pu

We report a study of the ..cap alpha.. decay of the isotopes /sup 246/Cf, /sup 248/Cm, and /sup 240/Pu. The experiments were carried out with a magnetic ..cap alpha.. spectrograph with space focusing of the ..cap alpha..-particle beam at an angle ..pi sqrt..2. The isotope /sup 246/Cf was obtained from the reaction /sup 244/Cm(..cap alpha..,2n). Corresponding experiments used samples highly enriched in the isotopes /sup 248/Cm, /sup 244/Cm, and /sup 240/Pu. We give a summary of the results and the energies of individual ..cap alpha..-particle groups, their intensities, and also the energy levels of the daughter nuclei.
