Copper solar panels: Dana's best bet for cutting energy bills

Dana Corporation, Auburn, Indiana, manufacturer of clutches and axles for this automobile industry, found an alternative fuel source to heat water for washing, rinsing, and coating processes. After extensively testing and comparing solar conductors, an all-copper solar panel system was chosen. The copper panels were the best heat conductors and the least likely to corrode. The company could cut 100% of selected energy consumption using the panels. (MCW)
