Large-N two-dimensional QCD and chiral symmetry

Chiral-symmetry breaking of two-dimensional QCD is studied in the N..-->..infinity limit. The gap equation for the meson condensation function is solved in the axial gauge. The quark condensate is calculated. The effects of finite temperature and baryon density are discussed.
