/sup 12/C(/sup 6/Li,d)/sup 16/O reaction in the 20--34 MeV incident energy range

The reaction /sup 12/C(/sup 6/Li,d) /sup 16/O has been studied in the 20--34 MeV incident energy range. Angular distributions have been taken at 28 MeV and 34 MeV incident /sup 6/Li energies; the data have been analyzed in terms of Hauser-Feshbach and exact finite range distorted-wave Born approximation theories. The extracted ..cap alpha.. spectroscopic strengths are compared with the predictions of SU(3) shell model.
