High spin states and band structure in /sup 97/Tc

High spin states in /sup 97/Tc have been populated via the /sup 94/Zr(/sup 6/Li, 3n..gamma..) reaction. ..gamma..-..gamma.. coincidence techniques have been used to determine the level scheme while excitation functions and angular distribution measurements have been used to assign spin values and to determine some multipole mixing ratios. The results are compared to recent particle-core coupling calculations.
