New production logging technique for horizontal wells

A new technique for running production logs in horizontal wells has been developed. The logging tools attached to a rigid stinger are pumped down a service tubing until they reach the zone to be logged. This paper describes the new technique and the first two case histories, Lacq 91 (France) and Rospo Mare 6 (Italy).
