In M. Shoucri's Comments, we must replace (9) by the Boltzmann density law and set [delta]v[sub h]=0 in (14), so that the term [minus][omega][sup 2][sub ph]/[omega][sup 2] in (20) vanishes, revovering the results of Ref. 2. (AIP)
