The strategic plan is being implemented for Zion and consists of the following steps: 1) sleeve tube-sheet degraded tubes instead of plugging, 2) plug tubes degraded at locations other than the tubesheet, 3) replace the anti-vibration bars, 4) evaluate steam generator replacement on a preliminary basis, 5) continue the 100% eddy current inspection program currently in place, and 6) continue joint utility/EPRI efforts on improving steam generator availability, reliability and repair.
