Process to convert cellulose to glucose developed at NYU

A process that continually converts waste cellulose to glucose is described and represents a potential source of inexpensive fermentable sugar that can be used to manufacture alcohol for fuel. The key to the process is an extrusion system which is reported to reduce the cost of alcohol production by as much as 50%.
