Weak interactions

Book ·
OSTI ID:6666782
Great progress has been made in the last few years in the domain of the weak interactions of elementary particles, through very important experimental discoveries and theoretical developments. The proceedings of this course provide a full account of this progress and development. A detailed introduction gives a basic knowledge of the modern theory of weak interactions. A complete picture of the experimental situation of the neutrino physics and, in general, of weak interactions, is presented in different chapters: from the techniques of the neutrino beams to the analyses of the neutrino reactions in bubble chambers and spark chambers, from the semi-leptonic v and v reactions to the purely leptonic processes and the multi-lepton events. Recent results on the e/sup +/e annihilation processes and charm productions are also discussed. Finally, more detailed aspects of theoretical models of quantum flavor dynamics are presented, and future searches at very high energies in e/sup +/e and anti p p are prospected.
