Effect of secondary flow caused by Hall currents in compressible boundary layers near the insulating wall of an MHD generator

The transverse flow near the insulating wall for a compressible turbulent flow of seeded combustion products is analyzed with the help of the Patankar--Spalding numerical method. The results show that for the U-25 generator of the bypass type, the transverse component of the flow velocity equals roughly-equal5% of the axial velocity and its maximum is situated near the walls.
