This report details the activities, facilities, and equipment used to sample raw feedstock and waste solids at the Minnesota Power and Light's Plant Clay Boswell in Cohasset, Minnesota. Explanation of sampling locations, deviations from the Test Plan, sampling techniques (in accordance with the Fossil Energy Waste General Sampling Guideline), and plant design are reviewed. Versar Inc.'s responsibility in this project involves the sampling, containerization, labeling, and distribution of samples. Distribution of samples was coordinated through the Versar Office in Springfield, Virginia; therefore, no detailed description of distribution procedures is given in this document.
