A suspension arrangement is described for a wheel support of a vehicle, the vehicle having a frame and at least one wheel support means rotatable relative to the frame, the suspension arrangement comprising: a pressure fluid suspension strut including a cylinder and a piston reciprocably disposed in the cylinder and forming a fluid chamber in the cylinder, the cylinder and piston operably interconnecting the frame and the wheel support means; and bearing means forming a connection between one of the cylinder and piston and one of the frame and the wheel support means for supporting the suspension strut for rotation of the wheel support means relative to the frame when the suspension strut is in an operative position. It also forms a connection between other of the cylinder and piston and the one of the frame and the wheel support means for supporting the suspension strut for rotation of the wheel support means relative to the frame when the suspension strut is in collapsed position of the cylinder and piston.
