Quasifree electron scattering by nuclei in the interaction-time approximation

An approach based on the inclusiveness of the (e,e') process in the final nuclear states is used for the description of quasifree electron scattering by nuclei. The influence of the NN interaction properties and relativistic corrections to the nucleon kinetic energy operator on the parameters determining the position and the shape of the quasifree peak is investigated. A satisfactory description of experimental data on the cross sections of the (e,e') reaction in /sup 4/He, /sup 12/C, /sup 24/Mg, /sup 40/Ca, /sup 119/Sn and /sup 208/Pb nuclei is obtained.
