Characterization of KTaWO/sub 6/. H/sub 2/O

The pyrochlore-type compound KTaWO/sub 6/ . H/sub 2/O has been characterized by X-ray diffraction technique, thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. Electrical conductivity measurements have been carried out in the temperature range 25-500/sup 0/C by complex admittance method.
