The 72-acre Mosley Road Sanitary Landfill site is an inactive municipal landfill in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. The site overlies two aquifers. The ROD addresses the source (waste pits) and the contaminated ground water as a final remedial action for the site. The primary contaminants of concern affecting the soil and ground water are VOCs, including benzene, PCE and TCE; other organics, including PAHs and pesticides; and metals, including arsenic, chromium, and lead. The selected remedial action for the site includes repairing and improving the existing cap with addition of a vegetative soil layer to reduce erosion and infiltration.
