Lowest states in the Jaffe model: Application to q/sup 4/q-bar

It is demonstrated that the rules enunciated by Jaffe for obtaining the SU(6)/sub cs/ representations of the lowest n-quark--m-antiquark states of the MIT bag model must be modified if either n or m exceeds two. As an illustration the energies of the lowest baryons of the q/sup 4/q-bar configuration are calculated; the lowest N*, ..lambda..*, and Z/sub 0/ are calculated to be 1500, 1400, and 1700 MeV, respectively.
