Title: Search for [Lambda][sub [ital b]][r arrow][ital J]/[psi] [Lambda][sup 0] in [ital p[bar p]] collisions at [radical][ital s] =1. 8 TeV

We have searched for the [ital b]-flavored baryon decay [Lambda][sub [ital b]][r arrow][ital J]/[psi] [Lambda][sup 0] in [ital p[bar p]] collisions at [radical][ital s] =1.8 TeV with the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF). In the [ital J]/[psi] [Lambda][sup 0] invariant-mass distribution we observe a flat distribution and a small number of events, consistent with no signal. Using the [ital b]-quark cross section measured by the CDF we put an upper limit on the [ital b][r arrow][Lambda][sub [ital b]] production fraction times the branching ratio [ital F]([Lambda][sub [ital b]])[ital B]([Lambda][sub [ital b]][r arrow][ital J]/[psi] [Lambda][sup 0]) of 0.50[times]10[sup [minus]3] at 90% confidence level.
