Laboratory research was conducted on the polymerization of vinyl monomers under super-dry conditions. Techniques and equipment were developed for super-drying (moisture 10/sup -6/ to 10/sup -9/M). Experiments were conducted on vinyl chloride, liquid trioxane, ..beta..-pinene, alpha olefins, and vinyl ethers. (DLC)
